ORGANIZATION STRUCTURE

In order to achieve its common goals, the AS#RO Research Group brings together specialists from the Faculty of History, Faculty of Biology, Faculty of Chemistry, Faculty of Physics, Faculty of Geography, and Faculty of Geology and Geophysics of the University of Bucharest, which will perform interdisciplinary as six Research, Development, Innovation and Professional Training Units (RDIPTU or UCDIFP in Romanian version). The six Units are represented by:

  1. The Applied and Theoretical Archaeology Unit, which will carry out research, development, innovation and professional training in archaeology. Responsible Coordinator RDIPTU#1: Daniela Zaharia (Faculty of History). Members
  2. The Bioarchaeology Unit, which will carry out research, development, innovation and training activities in the field of bio-archeology. Responsible Coordinator RDIPTU#2: Luminita Măruţescu. Members
  3. The Geoarchaeology Unit, which will carry out the research, development, innovation and training activities in the field of geo-archaeology. Responsible Coordinator RDIPTU#3: Lucian Laurenţiu Petrescu (Faculty of Geology and Geophysics). Members
  4. The Archaeophysics Unit, which will carry out research, development, innovation and professional training in archaeology. Responsible Coordinator RDIPTU#4: Vasile Bercu (Faculty of Physics). Members:
  5. The Archaeochemistry Unit, which will carry out research, development, innovation and professional training in archeochemistry. Responsible Coordinator RDIPTU#5: Otilia Ludmila Cinteza (Faculty of Chemistry). Members
  6. The Archaeogeography Unit is to carry out research, development, innovation and training activities in archeogeography. Responsible Coordinator RDIPTU#6: Alfred Vespremeanu-Stroe. (Faculty of Geography). Members

 

The main coordinator of AS#RO Research Group is Cătălin Lazăr (Faculty of History).
